Sonny and Donnie Youtube

Here's the link to the youtube clip of the movie. Basically the short was done as a lighting exercise during one afternoon, and attempts a film noir styled look. It's a pity youtube doesn't have better quality as the movie looks very nice in High Definition. The running length is just under 3 minutes.

Nicely done shots there, not quite sure what I can say about that slow-mo bullet though. Correct aspect ratio this time? Also where have I heard that ending music from? One of your previous movies?

Lighting and costumes were great though.

Thanks, the whole process was rather rushed but we plan to put out a more polished version slightly later, will have to overhaul the bullet effect a bit as I had some troubles with it.

The music was made from Soundtrack, which a lot of people probably use. In particular there is that 'Under the moon' short that uses a couple of similar violin tracks straight from Soundtrack.

And yes I finally worked out how to export letterboxes correctly. Final cut isn't the greatest at doing this intuitively, at least not if you're using a greater than 1.66 aspect.

Ah soundtrack, that would explain it. I played around with it a bit myself before I found people with actual experience and begged them to compose me music, did this with 'Strange Happenings' I'll probably play around with it again later.
